Nicolae Stoica – ultimul mare interbelic, expoziție la Suceava

The Jean Louis Calderon Foundation, in partnership with the National Museum of Bukovina, announces the opening of the exhibition "Nicolae Stoica – the last great interwar artist" on August 12, 2026. Curated by Damian Florea, the exhibition highlights the work of Nicolae Stoica, a significant interwar painter whose career was disrupted by the communist regime. It features 39 oil paintings and 10 drawings, showcasing Stoica's artistic journey and contributions to Romanian art. The event aims to restore the artist's legacy and place in the cultural memory of Romania.
