Nicolae Stoica – ultimul mare interbelic, expoziție la Suceava

The exhibition "Nicolae Stoica – the last great interwar artist" will open on August 12, 2026, at the National Museum of Bukovina. Curated by Damian Florea, it highlights the work of a significant interwar painter whose career was disrupted by the communist regime. The event features 39 oil paintings and 10 drawings, showcasing Stoica's artistic journey and contributions to Romanian art. A comprehensive monographic catalog accompanies the exhibition, documenting Stoica's life and work. This project aims to restore his place in the cultural memory of Romania, emphasizing his importance alongside other notable artists of his time.
