Netflix ar urma să disponibilizeze 1.000 de angajați
Netflix plans to cut about 6% of its workforce, equating to around 1,000 jobs, as reported by the Wall Street Journal. This marks the largest layoff round since 2022, driven by intense competition in the media market. The layoffs will primarily affect teams in product, technology, human resources, and legal departments. Netflix, which had approximately 16,000 full-time employees at the end of last year, is diversifying its revenue sources by investing in advertising, live programming, and video games. Earlier this year, Netflix lost a bidding war for Warner Bros. Discovery's streaming and film production assets to a consortium led by Paramount.
