Netanyahu ordonă analiza securităţii zborurilor către Israel după atacul asupra unui avion Flydubai • Newsweek România
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered a security review of international flights to Israel following an attempted hijacking of a Flydubai flight. The review will be led by Shmuel Ben Ezra, head of the National Security Council. The government faces pressure from opposition members questioning security lapses that allowed the incident to occur. Reports indicate the suspect had previously flown to Tel Aviv for reconnaissance. Opposition leader Yair Lapid criticized the investigation as superficial, while Transport Minister Miri Regev discussed cooperation with UAE officials on the matter. Gadi Eisenkot, a political rival, suggested Regev should resign over the incident.
