Neptun Deep poate transforma România în liderul UE la gaze
The Neptun Deep project, developed by OMV Petrom and Romgaz in the Black Sea, is set to make Romania the largest natural gas producer in the EU, enhancing its energy independence. Remus Vulpescu, CEO of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, highlighted the project's significance during an event celebrating 25 years since OMV Petrom's listing. He emphasized the financial and physical scale of the project, which spans 7,500 square kilometers. Vulpescu also reflected on OMV Petrom's success since its listing, noting its importance in the BET index and the positive investor sentiment. The project aims to significantly boost Romania's gas production and reduce import dependency, marking a key milestone in the country's energy landscape.
