Interim Finance Minister Alexandru Nazare announced that Romania received 2.5 billion euros from SAFE, aimed at enhancing defense and infrastructure. He emphasized that these funds will support long-term defense commitments and boost the national industry through job creation and technological transfer. Nazare highlighted the importance of 4.2 billion euros allocated for dual-use infrastructure projects, including strategic highways in Moldova. He stressed the need for rapid implementation and transparency in fund allocation, linking economic stability to national security.
