Nazare, negociatorul României cu agențiile de rating, trage un semnal de alarmă după ce am evitat alunecarea în “junk”
Alexandru Nazare, the dismissed Minister of Economy and Finance, commented on Fitch's decision to maintain Romania's BBB- rating with a negative outlook. He emphasized that Romania avoided a downgrade to junk status, remaining in the investment-grade category. However, Fitch warned that political instability and rising public debt pose risks for future ratings. Nazare highlighted the importance of political consensus for fiscal reforms and the need for a functional government to ensure economic stability. He noted that the upcoming Moody's evaluation will also focus on the impact of political instability on public finances.
