Rugby federations from Romania, Georgia, Portugal, and Spain have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish the "Alliance of Four Nations" aimed at enhancing sports competitiveness internationally. This strategic alliance, formed during a meeting in Georgia, seeks to create a united front for rugby-related decisions. The initiative focuses on proposing reforms for competitions, international calendars, governance, and financial allocations, while also promoting high-performance collaboration and youth development. A rotating presidency will lead the alliance, which aims to explore new competition formats and commercial opportunities among member nations.
