Naționala masculină de volei va întâlni Grecia, Danemarca și Estonia înaintea EuroVolley 2026

The Romanian men's volleyball team will play seven friendly matches in preparation for the 2026 European Championship, hosted in Cluj-Napoca. The team, led by coach Sergiu Stancu, is currently training in Ploiești until August 24, before moving to Cluj-Napoca. Their first matches are against Greece in Athens on August 13 and 14, followed by three games against Denmark in Ploiești on August 21, 22, and 23. The final two friendlies will take place in Cluj-Napoca against Estonia on August 29 and 30. The European Championship will run from September 9 to 26, with Romania hosting Group D matches. The team aims to be in top form for the competition, having previously reached the round of 16 in 2023.
