NASA and SpaceX leaders met at Kennedy Space Center to assess the readiness for the Roman Space Telescope launch. Following the evaluation, the mission managers confirmed that the telescope is ready for final preparations. The launch is scheduled for August 30, 2023, using a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket. The Roman telescope aims to provide astronomers with a broader view of the cosmos and investigate key astronomical questions. It will study the evolution of the Universe and exoplanets beyond our Solar System.
