Naoki Nakamura celebrated his 30th birthday by winning the men's event at the FIS Ski Jumping Summer Grand Prix 2026 in Râșnov, Romania. The competition featured 80 athletes from 19 countries and served as a rehearsal for the upcoming European Youth Olympic Festival in 2027. Nakamura's victory secured him the top position in the overall Summer Grand Prix standings. In the women's category, Anna Twardosz from Poland won the first day, while Jason Colby from the USA triumphed on the second day. Romanian athlete Daniela Toth qualified for the finals both days, finishing 19th and 16th respectively. The venue will undergo modernization, including a night lighting system, in preparation for the FOTE 2027.
