The Alpin Film Festival, founded by Dan Burlac, celebrated its 11th edition in Brașov, showcasing over 40 films from 18 countries. The festival emphasizes mountain culture and education through film, photography, and literature. The Australian documentary "Iron Winter" won the Grand Prize, while the Belgian film "Blood and Mud" received the Jury Prize. Special mentions included the Polish film "Kumotry" and the best Romanian film award went to "Șona, a story written in stone." The festival also featured literary events and discussions on mountaineering, promoting a community around mountain values.
