Municipiul Iași va avea cel mai mare parc fotovoltaic construit de o administrație publică din România / ”Va avea toate echipamentele necesare pentru a produce și injecta energie în sistemul energetic național pe tot parcursul anului”

The Iași City Hall has signed a project to build a photovoltaic park at CET II Holboca, valued at approximately 48 million lei. This park will feature over 13,000 solar panels with a capacity of 9 Megawatts, making it the largest public administration solar park in Romania. Additionally, the city is modernizing CET I and CET II with European funds exceeding 200 million lei, which includes the installation of thermal engines for co-generation. A 20 Megawatt energy storage facility is also planned to enhance energy production and manage costs effectively.
