„Mulțumim, frați români!” Cum au fost primiți în Serbia pompierii români, între care 9 bihoreni (VIDEO)
Romanian firefighters sent to Serbia to combat wildfires have received positive reactions from locals, highlighting the friendly ties between the two nations. A contingent of 69 firefighters, including nine from Bihor, is actively engaged in firefighting efforts in the Deliblatska Peščara area. Their mission, initially set for ten days, has seen them working through the night to control the flames. The challenging terrain and rapid fire spread have made the situation difficult, but the Romanian team is prepared to extend their stay if necessary. The operation is supported by a Black Hawk helicopter and is part of an international effort to manage the wildfires affecting over 3,500 hectares.
