Mugur Isărescu avertizează că România nu poate pierde banii din PNRR: „Nu ne așteptăm la o revenire rapidă a creșterii economice”

The governor of BNR, Mugur Isărescu, stated that Romania's economy will not recover quickly after a period of decline. He emphasized the importance of European funds for economic growth and predicted a significant decrease in inflation. Isărescu noted that while investments have increased, their pace has slowed, and industrial exports have dropped. He called for continued efforts to attract European funds and highlighted the high risk premiums affecting borrowing costs. Despite challenges, he remains optimistic about inflation trends, expecting a reduction by the end of the year.
