Motorina se scumpește din nou miercuri, 9 septembrie

Fuel prices, particularly diesel, have increased across major chains in Romania, starting with Rompetrol. The lowest diesel price in Bucharest is 10.28 lei per liter at Petrom, while Lukoil has the highest at 10.36 lei. Nationally, the cheapest diesel is found in Lungulețu at 9.97 lei. Gasoline prices have also risen, with Socar offering the lowest at 9.73 lei and OMV Petrom the highest at 9.88 lei. These price hikes are attributed to rising international fuel quotations and oil prices nearing $100 per barrel. The Ministry of Finance has temporarily increased the diesel excise reduction to 25% for September 2026 to protect citizens' purchasing power.
