This decision aims to alleviate the financial burden on consumers amid rising fuel prices. The new excise rate will be 2,103.22 lei per 1,000 liters, reflecting a significant decrease. However, the actual price at the pump may not drop correspondingly due to various market factors. The measure is temporary and will be reassessed bi-weekly based on market conditions.
