Rompetrol has increased the price of standard diesel by 10 bani per liter, following a rise in global diesel quotations. Other major chains have not yet adjusted their prices, but changes may occur soon. Diesel prices in Bucharest range from 10.19 to 10.35 lei, while gasoline prices are between 9.73 and 9.79 lei. The recent price hike follows a previous increase on September 5, and the current diesel quotation has reached its highest in five months. Romania's diesel prices remain below the EU average, ranking 14th among 27 countries.
