OMV Petrom has lowered its diesel price by 5 bani per liter at both Petrom and OMV stations. This marks the first price drop in five weeks, following a previous reduction on September 1 due to a tax cut. Despite the small decrease, it comes amid ongoing fuel crises in Europe. Currently, no other competitors have reduced their diesel prices. Romania is under crisis legislation that limits fuel distributor markups and restricts exports, allowing only one price increase per day.
