Standard diesel prices in Romania have surpassed 10 lei per liter again, following a temporary drop due to a tax reduction. The lowest price recorded is 10.02 lei/liter at a Rompetrol station in Clinceni. This increase comes just two days after the 20% excise tax cut, which had briefly lowered prices below 10 lei in several areas. In contrast, gasoline prices remain lower, with the cheapest at 9.47 lei/liter in Târgoviște. Major cities show similar trends, with diesel prices ranging from 10.09 to 10.14 lei/liter. The recent tax reduction aimed to alleviate rising international diesel prices, which have increased significantly.
