Motorina a coborât sub 10 lei pe litru: noile prețuri după reducerea accizei

The Romanian government has increased the temporary diesel excise reduction from 20% to 25%, effective from September 1, 2026, to alleviate fuel price pressures. This measure will remain in place until September 15, 2026, when it will be reassessed based on international market trends. Current diesel prices in Sibiu range from 9.97 to 11.09 lei per liter, while gasoline prices vary between 9.48 and 10.17 lei per liter. The adjustment aims to mitigate the impact of rising fuel costs on the economy, particularly in transportation and logistics sectors. The excise reduction mechanism will be evaluated biweekly according to market developments.
