Motorina a coborât sub 10 lei/litru în stațiile Petrom
Fuel prices in Romania have started to decrease following a 20% cut in diesel excise tax. Diesel at Petrom stations is now priced at 9.99 lei per liter, while other networks are close to 10 lei. Despite this reduction, Romania remains among the top countries in Europe for expensive diesel. The price drop is a result of a recent legislative measure aimed at addressing the crisis in the oil market. The new law allows for bi-monthly adjustments to the excise tax, potentially reducing prices further. However, even with the decrease, Romania's position in the European ranking has only slightly improved, remaining in the top half for high diesel prices.
