A motorcycle from World War II and the remains of two German soldiers were uncovered in the Danube River in Budapest. The DKW NZ 350-1 motorcycle, remarkably preserved, was retrieved by the Hungarian Military History Institute. Alongside the motorcycle, military equipment and the soldiers' identification tags were found, potentially revealing their identities after 80 years. The area may have served as a war debris site, complicating the narrative of the soldiers' deaths.
