Momentul în care tinerii României au spus nu dictaturii. Adevărul pe care comuniștii doreau să-l țină ascuns despre ridicarea la luptă a studenților

Despite communist propaganda portraying a happy Romania, many citizens were dissatisfied, leading to student protests against the regime. Inspired by movements in Hungary and Poland, Romanian students began to voice their grievances openly in 1956. Protests erupted in Timișoara, where students demanded the withdrawal of Soviet troops and an end to forced collectivization. The protests spread to universities across the country, with students calling for freedom and reform. A subversive radio station emerged, amplifying calls for change and reflecting the growing unrest against the communist regime.
