The attacker, a 72-year-old resident of the same facility, was arrested without resistance. The police reported that the attack took place in the dining room, resulting in the immediate death of the elderly woman. The two injured women, aged 81 and 83, are in critical condition. The nursing home, St Vitus-Stift, houses 77 elderly residents requiring care due to health issues, and an investigation into the homicide has been initiated.
