Moldova și Ucraina fac un nou pas spre UE! Ce negocieri importante au început cele două țări • Newsweek România

Moldova and Ukraine have officially begun negotiations for EU accession, focusing on two new clusters related to the internal market and competitiveness. This decision was made during intergovernmental conferences in Luxembourg, following a meeting of the EU Council. Moldova's negotiations now cover 24 out of 33 chapters, aiming for alignment with EU standards in various sectors. The internal market cluster includes nine chapters addressing free movement and consumer protection, while the competitiveness cluster encompasses eight chapters on economic policies and digital transformation. The goal for Moldova is EU membership by 2030, with technical negotiations potentially concluding by 2028. Ukraine is also encouraged to implement further reforms to advance its EU aspirations.
