Moldova și-a retras personalul din patru puncte de frontieră din Ucraina
Moldova has withdrawn its border police and customs officers from four checkpoints in Ukraine due to war-related risks. Discussions are ongoing with Ukraine to relocate joint controls to Moldovan territory to enhance safety for personnel and travelers. The Interior Minister announced that arrangements for two checkpoints have already been agreed upon, while others may be evaluated based on security risks. The withdrawal does not close the checkpoints but changes where staff operate. Authorities are also working on protective spaces at exposed border points. A recent incident involved a projectile hitting a bus near Palanca, injuring a border police officer. Ukraine has proposed new joint controls, which are under review.
