Moldova își pregătește rezervele de gaze pentru iarnă

Moldova is preparing for the winter of 2026-2027 by storing nearly 136 million cubic meters of gas, ensuring energy supply for Transnistria. The government has approved a comprehensive plan with 52 measures to secure natural gas, electricity, and heating supplies. Minister Dorin Junghietu highlighted the impact of rising gas prices and regional drought on energy production. Energocom must complete security stockpiles by October 1, while gas suppliers need to reserve 15% of annual consumption by November 1. The plan includes enhancing electricity transport capacity and monitoring energy consumption to reduce waste.
