MOL Group inaugurează un nou parc solar și o instalație de stocare a energiei în Ungaria - Economica.net
MOL Group has launched a solar park in Algyő, Hungary, with a capacity of 37.4 MWp and a 20 MW energy storage system. This initiative enhances the company's renewable energy portfolio and energy independence in Central Europe, while reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 13,000 tons annually. The solar facility can meet the energy needs of the Algyő region and supports the stability of the national grid. MOL aims to expand its renewable energy sources and storage capacities as part of its long-term strategy, SHAPE TOMORROW, targeting a total energy storage capacity of 500 MWh by 2030. The new solar park increases MOL's total photovoltaic capacity in the region to 415 MWp, contributing to a significant reduction in emissions.
