MOL has completed the construction of the AV3 unit at the Dunărea Refinery, which was damaged by a fire last autumn. The project was finished on schedule, allowing for a gradual restart of production. After testing, the refinery will operate at full capacity, enhancing fuel supply security for Hungary and the region. The repair budget reached 18 billion forints (48.6 million euros). The complex restoration involved demolishing and reconstructing damaged structures, replacing equipment, and installing new systems. The next steps include thorough safety inspections and gradual production resumption in October. MOL aims to ensure safe operation and increased flexibility in meeting fuel demand.
