Modernizarea liniei feroviare Brașov–Sighișoara: 630 mil. €
The Romanian government has approved a memorandum for a €630 million financing agreement with the European Investment Bank for the modernization of the Brașov–Sighișoara railway segment. This funding is part of a larger framework allowing Romania to secure up to €4.975 billion for strategic projects under the Transport Program 2021–2027. The project aims to enhance the national railway infrastructure, improving safety and efficiency while reducing travel times. The modernization will also support both civilian mobility and military transport objectives within the EU.
