Modernizarea depoului de tramvaie din Galați: lucrări și costuri

The tram depot No. 1 in Galați is undergoing modernization with a project worth approximately 178.4 million lei. The works include refurbishing tracks, upgrading maintenance workshops, and installing a washing station for trams. The project is led by Tancrad, with other companies involved. The washing station will feature advanced equipment for cleaning and water treatment. The modernization aims to enhance infrastructure for tram maintenance and complements the recent acquisition of new trams. This initiative is part of a larger project that also includes improvements to local roads, funded by the Regional Program for 2021-2027. The works began in August 2025 and are expected to last 24 months.
