The University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca has been included in the BALENCIAGA TRANSMISSIONS program, marking a significant achievement for Romanian fashion education. This initiative, coordinated by the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum in Spain, aims to enhance the international profile of the university and its students. Starting in October 2026, students will engage in research based on Balenciaga's creations, exploring techniques and materials to inform their own designs. This collaboration not only elevates the university's reputation but also provides students with valuable resources and exposure to global fashion practices. The partnership with Banca Transilvania further supports the development of future artists in Romania.
