Mobilizare pentru devierea unui braț al Dunării. Armata, implicată în măsurile fără precedent din criza energetică

The Romanian government has mobilized naval forces to divert a section of the Danube River to maintain operations at the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant due to low water levels. The Bala Arm has been partially blocked to redirect water flow, with military specialists conducting hydrographic measurements. This unprecedented measure aims to ensure sufficient water levels for reactor operations, as low river levels have already led to the shutdown of Reactor 1, with Reactor 2 also at risk. The situation could result in a significant energy production loss for the country.
