Mobilizare în Italia. Mai multe companii italiene au format un consorțiu pentru a salva o oțelărie din sudul țării

An Italian consortium has been formed to negotiate the acquisition of the former ILVA steelworks in Taranto, facing economic and pollution issues. Nearly all national steel companies are interested in revitalizing the plant, which was once the largest in Europe. The consortium, led by Antonio Gozzi, is ready for immediate discussions with the government. Additionally, Indian group Jindal and US-based Flacks have shown interest in purchasing the facility. The plant has been under state administration since early 2024 due to financial troubles and a recent court ruling halting operations over pollution concerns.
