Moaştele Sfintei Ana, mama Maicii Domnului, ajung pentru prima dată în România, sâmbătă, la Biserica "Sfântul Gheorghe"-Nou

Relics of Saint Anne from the Cutlumuş Monastery in Mount Athos will be brought to Romania for the first time, starting September 5. The relics will be housed at the "Saint George" Church in Bucharest until September 10. A delegation of five monks will arrive at Henri Coandă International Airport, and a series of religious events will be held to honor the relics. The event is dedicated to the Saints Martyrs Brâncoveni and Saint Maria Brâncoveanu, the church's patrons. The church will be open daily for veneration, and the relics have a rich history, having been brought from the Holy Land to Constantinople in 710.
