The relics of Saint Anne will be brought to Romania for the first time from Mount Athos, allowing believers to venerate them from September 5-10, 2026. The event honors the Martyrs Brancoveanu and Saint Maria Brancoveanu. The relics will be housed at the Saint George Nou Church in Bucharest, with a welcoming ceremony scheduled for September 5. A delegation of five monks from Mount Athos will accompany the relics. A detailed liturgical program will take place during the event, including various services and prayers dedicated to Saint Anne and other saints. The church will remain open for veneration daily from September 6-10, 2026, accommodating all believers wishing to pay their respects.
