Costache Zamfirescu established a successful business by producing high-quality candles and later soap, using imported French fragrances. Their products, including household soap and luxurious toilet soaps, became popular among the bourgeoisie. The factory also launched a commemorative soap in 1940 for its centenary. The legacy of the Zamfirescu family includes not only luxury soaps but also renowned chocolates bearing their name.
