Mitingul pro-Georgescu în fața Arestului Central continuă

On Monday evening, around 200 people protested outside the Central Arrest, demanding the release of Călin Georgescu, who is in preventive detention. Supporters displayed a banner reading "Free CG" and chanted slogans in his favor. This marks a week of protests, with attendance peaking at 2,000 on Sunday. Georgescu was arrested following a court decision related to a fraud case involving a 1.1 million euro loss, where he allegedly deceived a businessman by promising a guaranteed loan of 6 million euros. He has been incarcerated since last Tuesday.
