The study proposes that the resulting black hole's mass is around 140 solar masses, rather than the initially estimated 230. However, the nature of the gravitational lens remains a mystery, as no suitable object has been identified to account for the effect. Future research is needed to explore this phenomenon further and its implications for understanding dark matter and ancient black hole mergers.
