Joheirry Mola from the Dominican Republic was crowned Miss World 2026 in Nha Trang, Vietnam, marking the country's second win in the pageant's history. The 24-year-old journalist and teacher is dedicated to educational projects for vulnerable youth. The event celebrated its 75th anniversary, featuring contestants from 111 countries. Mola emphasized the importance of education in her final speech, highlighting her initiative, Voices of Tomorrow, which aims to improve English education access. The competition narrowed down from 111 participants to six finalists, with Spain's Elisabeth Reynés and Malaysia's Taanusiya Chetty finishing second and third, respectively.
