Misiune spațială în premieră. Japonia va aduce mostre de pe unul dintre „cei mai importanți munți încă necuceriți din sistemul solar”
Japan is set to launch a spacecraft to collect samples from Phobos, a Martian moon, marking a historic mission. The five-year project aims to uncover the formation of Phobos and Deimos, and potentially the origins of life in the solar system. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) plans to launch the H3 rocket, with support from NASA and other agencies. Phobos is chosen for its proximity to Mars, which may yield valuable insights. The spacecraft will reach Mars by August 2027, spend three years gathering data, and return to Earth in 2031.
