Mișcare surpriză: Iulian Stanciu, fostul șef al eMAG, a cumpărat benzinăriile Gazprom din România
The Romanian Competition Authority has approved the acquisition of Gazprom's gas station network by entrepreneurs Iulian Stanciu and Adrian Crețoiu, stating that the operation does not raise serious doubts about its compatibility with a normal competitive environment. The decision, numbered 211/2026, confirms that the economic concentration falls under competition law but does not threaten effective competition in the Romanian market. The acquisition involves a purchase agreement between NIS a.d. Novi Sad and Argenta, with Stanciu and Crețoiu holding 40% and 60% of Argenta, respectively. The authority found no horizontal overlaps in market activities, indicating a vertical integration. The two entrepreneurs must pay an authorization fee based on their reported turnover within 30 days.
