The salaries of Metrorex employees have been paid after the government approved a budget that reduces the company's losses by 100 million lei. Minister Radu Miruță rejected a previous budget proposal that would have led to higher losses and fare increases. He emphasized the need to recover funds through penalties and advertising contracts instead of raising ticket prices. Miruță also mentioned the importance of proper management to avoid public fund mismanagement. Union leaders warned of a financial crisis, stating that only 3,000 lei remained in Metrorex's accounts, jeopardizing salary payments.
