Miruţă: Nu există în acest moment niciun risc de a deconecta metroul de la alimentarea cu energie electrică

Interim Minister of Transport, Radu Miruță, assured that there is no risk of the metro being disconnected from electricity supply. He emphasized that Metrorex is obligated to pay its electricity bills and is currently making payments to reduce its debt. Miruță criticized the proposal to increase metro fares without addressing existing financial issues, particularly regarding uncollected penalties from contracts. He also mentioned the government's recent approval of a railway infrastructure development strategy for 2026-2030, which is necessary for signing a performance contract with CFR. Miruță pointed out delays in adopting this strategy, attributing them to previous management by PSD.
