Miruță anunță sancțiuni și directori responsabili pentru fiecare tren CFR Călători

The interim Minister of Transport, Radu Miruță, announced measures to improve CFR Călători services after a survey revealed 80% of passengers would not recommend the company. Key complaints include malfunctioning air conditioning, cleanliness, and overcrowding. Miruță highlighted that many issues stem from old diesel locomotives and power supply interruptions. A new accountability system for train management will be implemented, assigning a responsible director for each train. Additionally, a simplified online compensation form for delays will be introduced, although domestic delay compensations remain deferred until 2029.
