The interim Minister of Transport, Radu Miruță, stated that the court's decision to suspend ROMATSA's license is not final and that the agency will appeal. Authorities are preparing a backup plan for the Ministry of Defense to take over air traffic control if necessary. Miruță emphasized the importance of ROMATSA's revenue from air navigation fees and mentioned issues with blocked funds from Eurocontrol due to a debt owed by the Romanian state to Pfizer.
