TAROM has officially integrated its first Boeing 737 MAX aircraft into its fleet, marking a significant step in its operational renewal. The 737-8 model, named after Mircea Lucescu, is part of a four-aircraft acquisition aimed at enhancing efficiency and passenger experience. This new generation aircraft features advanced technology for reduced fuel consumption and emissions, while also providing a more comfortable travel environment. The second aircraft is expected to arrive by the end of September, with the remaining two scheduled for 2027. The introduction of the 737 MAX aligns with TAROM's restructuring plan, focusing on operational optimization and environmental sustainability.
