Mircea Abrudean: „Dacă Guvernul Mureșan nu va trece, sunt îndeplinite condiţiile pentru a fi declanşate alegeri anticipate”

Mircea Abrudean stated that if the Mureșan Government fails to secure parliamentary approval, conditions for early elections would be met. He emphasized that the President should consider the political realities and potential majorities. Abrudean, nominated for vice-premier, mentioned that while he hasn't participated in discussions about a possible constitutional court referral, he doesn't rule it out. He believes early elections could provide clarity in a politically unstable environment. Alexandru Muraru from PNL also highlighted the urgency of calling early elections if the Mureșan Cabinet does not pass. However, former Constitutional Court president Augustin Zegrean argued that the PNL's plan lacks constitutional basis, leaving the President with the choice between early elections or appointing a new premier.
