Mircea Abrudean, afaceri la nivel înalt pe bani publici. 372 de contracte fără licitație pentru firmele înființate de liberal

Mircea Abrudean, the President of the Romanian Senate, is embroiled in a scandal involving 372 public contracts awarded without tender to companies he co-founded. These contracts, totaling 12.6 million lei, were granted to SIAB Development SRL and Napotech Proiect SRL, both established with businessman Alexandru Gabriel Simu. Despite Abrudean's exit from the companies in late 2019, they continued to secure public contracts. SIAB Development alone received 276 contracts worth over 7.4 million lei from 2018 to 2026, while Napotech Proiect obtained 96 contracts totaling over 5.1 million lei. The investigation raises concerns about the legality and ethics of these dealings, particularly given the direct awarding of contracts without competitive bidding.
